Interests:
Yuchuan's research involved establishing a global-wide database related to the denitrifying bioreactor (DNBR), developing novel methods in predicting the performance of DNBR, unveiling how various abiotic factors affect nitrate removal in DNBR, and providing eco-friendly strategies to improve DNBR's performance. He also has a specialty in DNBR's design, monitoring, sampling, modeling, and statistical analysis.
In addition, Yuchuan starts to expand his research area into understanding the impacts of Best Management Practices (BMPs) on soil health, water quality, and plant production. Yuchuan has been actively participating in national and international conferences to present his research. He hopes to make the agricultural system more sustainable through his contribution to the research and extension work.
